8 Min Seated Twist Practice - Basic Version

The Seated Twist is great for freeing up the neck, shoulders and trunk of the body. It encourages you to focus on each small muscle that are part of a larger movement thus freeing up tension and increasing range of rotation.

Focusing on each segment of the movement brings the brain's attention there which shifts patterns in the nervous system and re-educates the system into being more coordinated.

No force, no stretching, just simply slow gentle movement in segments. We are so accustomed to larger movements and moving the trunk as one unit, we encourage you to take the time to sense and feel into every segment of the Seated Twist.

This practice is wonderful for individuals that do rotational sports such as golf, tennis, or rowing.
