61 Point Practice

61 Point Practice is a powerful nervous system re-set.This practice is done while lying down in Shavasana or Relaxation pose. The body is covered with a blanket, a flat pillow under the head and a cover over the eyes. Be guided along a systematic journey to bring your attention to 61 points in your body. Each point is an energy rich area of the body called a Marma point.Practice Benefits:Soothes the nervous system and deeply relaxes the muscles of the body. Mind is redirected from outer distractions and trained to move systematically through 61 points in the body helping to develop the skill of concentration. Directs your awareness inward sensing and feeling the inner workings of your body/mind developing the vital skill of Interoception. This practice is best done when you are alert in the earlier part of the day as opposed to before bed.
