Low Back Pain & Tight Hips – 4 Week Series
November 28 @ 9:00 am - December 19 @ 10:30 pm PST
The brain does not distinguish between good input and bad input. It just keeps learning whatever we teach it. Muscles are simply responding to the messages the brain sends them. Pain does not reside in the muscles, it resides in the brain.
Persistent or recurring low back pain and tight hips are a common concern and are the result of pelvic instability created by repetitive patterns that are learned and ingrained in the sub-cortex of the brain. To release this chronic tension, we simply need to harness the human body’s innate ability to heal itself. This will be a gentle class where you will learn and then practise a simple and ground-breaking technique to begin to reduce or resolve your pain/tension.
What you will learn:
Did you know that tightening your abdominals to support a painful low back may actually be making your pain worse?
Did you know that stretching chronically tight muscles may actually be making them tighter?
Want to learn how to change your tension/pain story by taking control of your own health and tapping into your body’s own intelligence?
How to create true functional core stability without doing having to do “ab work”
Learn a simple and ground-breaking technique for releasing tension in your hips and low back that you can continue to practice at home.
All levels welcome. No experience necessary.
