Finding Release: Shoulder Tension
February 16 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm EST
The brain does not distinguish between good input and bad input. It just keeps learning whatever we teach it. Muscles are simply responding to the messages the brain sends them. Persistent pain beyond six months does not originate in the muscles, it originates in the brain.
Shoulder tension is a common and often chronic concern that leads to limited range of movement of the arms, neck and head and can often be a major contributor to pain in the low back and lower body. It can cause neck tension, headaches and fatigue.
Persistent or recurring tension/pain is the result of repetitive patterns that are learned and ingrained in the sub-cortex of the brain. To release this chronic tension, we simply need to harness the human body’s innate ability to heal itself. This will be a gentle class where you will learn and then practice a simple and ground-breaking technique to begin to reduce or resolve your pain/tension.
In this class you will experience surprising results and learn how to release tight muscles that have kept you in pain or tension for far too long.
